An overview of careers in the law, basic substantive law, and litigation trials. Experience with actual legal topics and cases that serve as an introduction to the study of law. A simulation course is a class in which students receive simulated, tangible experience in tasks and processes related to a particular area of law. They are often classes in which students draft briefs and /or memos, conduct mock arguments, mock trials, or mock negotiations. Simulation classes are subject to the same size cap (27) as seminars. Accommodations are made on a case-by-case basis and may include exam modifications, deferments, assistance with course scheduling, and recording of classes for absences related to religious observance.
