You watch the class and run whatever you want, but the treadmill and app don't connect. Correct about Peloton, but to be fair, even the official Peloton tread doesn't control speed/incline automatically. You watch the screen and adjust them on your own. Bike is easier on the joints, which is the biggest selling point imo. Outside of that, anything that gets you moving, and enjoying it, is worth the investment.
