Posted December 27, 2009. That is a misprint / mistake. All 1206's from factory were Diesels. Quite a few years ago though, around 1994 or 1995 I think, I did see a "1206" with a gas engine in it on the lot while I was browsing for equipment at Yoder and Frey's Auction Lot in Archbold, Ohio.Also, look to see if your 1026 has any of the wiring coming through the right side of the dash cowling. Cab tractors had a hole where the wiring harness comes through to power the cab equipment. (lights, fan, etc) I'd say if there is no hole there, yours was an open station from the git go. Posted September 14, 2023. I had a big leaf blower 3 pt. Got it from a golf course. Did a little work on it. That thing would blow leaves 100 ft if you ran it full throttle. Sticks no problem. I had a 1/4mile lane with mature oak trees on both sides. I believe the 1066 is one of the most iconic tractors that International Harvester produced. Myself, well you all know my all time favorite is the 1466. I expect lots of good pictures today and some great 1066 stories. We have owned six 1066's over the course of time, but currently don't have one.Might be a good compromise.
