A lot of people were scared away by the protests downtown in 2020 when there was looting and violence, teargas etc but that was 2 years ago and there is no sign of it now. Louisville has a lot of violent crime, but it is in low income neighborhoods, not downtown.No homeless/transient folks in Louisville. Boulder has good live music venues. Louisville has none except for the Street Fair in the summer. Housing is more expensive in Boulder but Louisville is also pricey.
